Business Broker

I am the owner and founder of the BUSINESS HOUSE, inc.  Our Firm offers services in Business Brokerage, Business Consulting as well as Valuations, Exit Planning, Capital Infusions and Ownership Transfers.  the BUSINESS HOUSE, inc. is also a member of the International Association of Business Brokers, the largest nationally affiliated network of business brokerage firms in America.  This affiliation allows us to access buyers on a national basis, not just locally.  I am also an adjunct professor at North Georgia State College and University where I teach strategic management, finance, and marketing.  During my first year in business, I worked with McFrugal Auto Rental, Inc. as a consultant, helping them go public on the OTC stock exchange, and helping them acquire nine smaller independent car rental companies.  Prior to starting the BUSINESS HOUSE inc., I spent 17 years working for two fortune 100 companies in sales, sales management, and mergers and acquisitions.  In this capacity, I received many awards for excellence and meeting high performance goals.  Some of these awards included National Sales awards for many consecutive years and the #1 Salesman of the year National Award.

In addition to my past corporate career, I started and eventually sold, a commercial printer and a family restaurant, which my family and I owner operated.

As a Business Intermediary, Certified Exit Planner, and Consultant, I have been involved in over 250 mergers and acquisitions that have ranged in acquisition price from $60,000.00 to over $15,000,000.00.  I have served the manufacturing and distribution industry, the service and construction industry and on occasion the consumer products industry.

I am married to Rebecca Speir Merry, a local attorney, and we have three children.  My community involvement includes serving as an adult leader for Boy Scouts of America, Board Member for the Lanier Athletic Association, Camp Director for the Rainey Mountain Boy Scout Camp, and former President for the Georgia Association of Business Brokers.
